Welcome to the Rhode Island Field Hockey Coaches' Association. Present officers of the Association are as follows:

  Dues of $20.00 are payable to RIFHCA as soon as possible. Dues should be sent to Kris Graham.

  Home coaches are required to complete a game report to be sent to Jean Angell within 24 hours following the completion of a contest.  Fax to 647-4126.

  Home coaches are required to call the Providence Journal (277-7349) immediately following all contests.

  Coaches should provide opposing coaches with a roster, including names and numbers of players. Please clearly indicate Goalies and full names of all players, as the Providence Journal requests this information. It would be helpful if coaches provide a typed roster in addition to printing the names in the score books. It also would be helpful if coaches consulted following the game to ensure the accuracy of the statistics from the game.

  Sportsmanship by players, coaches, and fans is encouraged at all times.

  Division I will play home and away a total of sixteen (16) games.

  Division II North and South will play home and away and cross-over once for a total of sixteen (16) games.

  All teams with a forty (40%) winning percent or thirteen (13) points will make the play-offs.

  If we do not have six (6) teams who qualify for the play-offs, we will take the top six (6) teams based on winning percentage, not standings (for Division II).

  Official starting time for all games is 3:45 pm unless agreed upon by both schools.
